About Lantech
Lantech manufactures end-of-line packaging machinery, including stretch wrappers and case and tray handling systems. Founded in 1972 and owned by the Lancaster family, the company designs, builds and services equipment used to stabilise pallet loads and prepare goods for shipping. It manufactures in Louisville, Kentucky, and Malden in the Netherlands, with sales and service support for customers internationally.
Its robotics-related offering includes the SL400AMR stretch wrapper, launched globally in September 2026. The machine allows an autonomous mobile robot to deliver and collect a pallet while wrapping takes place without conveyors or ramps. A defined interface exposes machine states so an integrator can coordinate robot traffic and wrapping cycles. Film-tail handling is automated to keep loose film from interfering with subsequent material movement.

- 2026-09-30 - Product Launch - Lantech extends SL400AMR integrated stretch-wrapper availability globally
The system links autonomous mobile robot pallet transport with automatic wrapping and TurboTak film-tail management. Lantech planned a live PACK EXPO demonstration in Chicago on October 18–21, 2026. The earlier SL400 and SL400LT launch covered North and South America; this announcement extends SL400AMR availability worldwide.

Block One’s Pallet Factory had operated an unmanned overnight picking and palletizing shift since late 2025.
