About Harpak-ULMA

Harpak-ULMA supplies integrated packaging equipment and automation for food, medical and industrial products in North America. The business combined Harpak and ULMA in 2010, building on Harpak's origins in 1994, and operates as the North American arm of ULMA Packaging. Its systems combine forming, filling, sealing, inspection, loading and downstream case handling into complete packaging lines.

The company's hygienic robotic-loading platform brings product handling and packaging-machine control into a shared Rockwell Automation Logix environment. Application-selected vision and tooling locate, pick and place items such as cheese, meat and snacks, while open stainless-steel construction and accessible utilities support cleaning. Cell dimensions and handling arrangements are configured for the product, available space and packaging machinery. Engineering and manufacturing in Taunton, Massachusetts, support application development and delivery.
