RIEGL develops laser scanners and lidar systems for airborne, mobile, terrestrial, bathymetric and industrial measurement. Its instruments combine pulsed laser ranging, scan mechanics, waveform processing and calibrated timing to generate dense three-dimensional point clouds.
miniVUX and VUX sensors package survey-grade lidar for drones and aircraft, while terrestrial scanners capture buildings, mines and infrastructure from fixed positions. Bathymetric units measure through water for coastal and river mapping.
