DOBOT CR10
About
About DOBOT CR10
CR10 is a six-axis collaborative arm with a ten-kilogram payload and approximately 1.3-metre working radius. Hand-guided teaching and configurable collision detection allowed users to program handling, palletising, inspection, machine-loading and assembly work without a conventional fenced industrial-robot installation in suitable assessed applications.
The arm connected to grippers, vision systems and factory equipment through Dobot’s controller and software environment, with optional SafeSkin providing non-contact proximity detection. DOBOT has succeeded the model with the faster CR10A and newer CRA-series architecture, while documentation and support for the original CR10 remain part of the installed-product lineage.

Timeline
- Dobot CR10 integrated with AGV for unmanned CNC operations
2022-12-15 - Market Signal - Dobot integrated its CR10 collaborative robot with an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) to automate the loading and unloading of CNC machines. The system utilized visual positioning and a double gripper to handle both blank and finished workpieces across 14 CNC machines. This deployment reduced the need for four human workers in the loading and unloading process.

2022-12-15 - Deployment - Dobot deployed three CR10 collaborative robots to automate material handling on a PCB assembly line. Two robots managed loading and unloading for four sub-board machines, transferring materials to a connecting table. The third robot handled loading and unloading for four testing machines and two burning machines, completing the labeling process to fully automate the production line.
