DEUX 3-Finger Hand

About

About DEUX 3-Finger Hand

XYZ equips this end effector with three articulated digits driven by seven actuators across seven degrees of freedom. Tactile elements report contact at the fingers, an RGB camera contributes visual input, and a Raspberry Pi 5 performs local processing. EtherCAT provides the real-time interface needed to connect the hand with a wider robot-control stack.

The component originated within the DEUX service-robot programme but can also operate as a separate development platform. That arrangement lets engineering teams collect grasp data and test learning or control methods without using the complete semi-humanoid machine. Verified scope centres on sensorized manipulation hardware; broad store, office, hospital or household workflows described for DEUX still require evidence at the assembled-system level.
