About
About HCR-5W
HCR-5W is Hanwha Robotics' compact six-axis collaborative arm developed for welding in constrained work areas. The model carries 4.5 kilograms across a 625-millimetre reach while weighing 10.9 kilograms, a substantially smaller physical package than the 21-kilogram HCR-5A. It is rated for 0.02-millimetre repeatability and a linear speed of 0.5 metres per second.
The arm was shown welding a steel workpiece at Welding Korea 2024 and is intended for fabricators that need a relocatable robot around tight structures. Its IP66 body can be mounted on the floor, ceiling or a wall inclined by up to 30 degrees. Tool-side EtherCAT, analogue input and 24-volt power support welding-torch and cell-control integration.
