SYB 3 Cobot

SYB 3 is ISYBOT's three-axis collaborative arm for force-assisted and repeatable industrial processes such as sanding and grinding. Its four operating modes cover direct assistance, replay of a taught motion, parallelized autonomous processing of a defined surface and remote operation. The design is intended to preserve an operator's process knowledge while reducing sustained tool load.

The arm has a 1.6 m working radius, carries 10 kg across its stated workspace and uses an IP54 enclosure. ISYBOT lists collaborative motion up to 1 m/s. In replay mode it can reproduce up to five minutes of a previously taught trajectory; in parallel mode an operator defines the surface before the cobot processes it. The sanding end effector is an application configuration, so other processes require exact tooling and validation.
