About OAK-D Pro W

OAK-D Pro W is a compact active-stereo camera in Luxonis' Series 2 OAK range. Two wide-angle OV9282 cameras form a 75 mm stereo baseline and provide a 150-degree diagonal field of view. An infrared dot projector adds texture for depth estimation on plain surfaces, while a separate IR illuminator supports low-light and no-light operation. The central camera is offered as either a 12 MP rolling-shutter IMX378 or a wide-field global-shutter OV9782 variant.

Luxonis' RVC2 processor supplies 4 TOPS of aggregate processing, including 1.4 TOPS for neural inference, plus stereo depth, video encoding, feature tracking and 2D/3D object tracking. The USB-C camera measures 97 × 29.5 × 23.1 mm, weighs 91 g, draws up to about 7.5 W and uses an IP66 enclosure when the specified locking cable is fitted. Its ideal depth range is 0.4–6 m; accuracy and maximum range degrade with distance and wide-angle distortion.
