About Gemini 2 Depth Camera

Gemini 2 combines an active stereo depth system with a colour camera and inertial measurement unit in a compact enclosure. The stereo pair and infrared projection system generate depth across indoor working ranges, while RGB and motion data support registration, orientation estimation and perception pipelines. External synchronisation interfaces allow several cameras to capture coordinated frames for wider coverage or reduced occlusion.

The camera connects to a host through USB-C and is supported by Orbbec’s SDK for depth acquisition, calibration and multi-platform development. Integrators use Gemini 2 on mobile robots, manipulation systems, scanners and interactive equipment for obstacle sensing, mapping, object measurement and human tracking. Orbbec supplies the unit through direct and distribution channels with mounting and cable accessories.
