About PXCap III
PXCap III is a three-finger exoskeleton glove designed to mirror the kinematic structure of PaXini’s PXDex III robotic hand. Anti-magnetic joint encoders record finger posture, while tactile sensing across the fingertips, finger pads and palm captures contact force and distribution during object interaction.
Two 170-degree palm cameras record 1080p RGB video at 30 frames per second, aligning visual context with tactile and proprioceptive measurements. The isomorphic glove-to-hand relationship reduces retargeting between demonstration and execution, while optional virtual-reality tracking supplies the wider hand trajectory. PaXini positions the paired system for teleoperation and physical-AI dataset production.
