About DAS Dex

DAS Dex is a 210-gram wearable hand-capture system with 23 degrees of freedom. Magnetic encoders record finger motion, while wrist imaging, tactile sensing and spatial tracking capture the hand, contacts and end-effector trajectory during manipulation.

The system provides sub-millimetre trajectory reconstruction, one-millisecond signal latency and output rates reaching 200 hertz. Data include joint angles, fingertip trajectories, tactile measurements and high-definition hand imagery within GenRobot's embodied-data workflow for policy training.
