Smartgloves II

About

About Smartgloves II

Smartgloves II use inertial and finger-sensing hardware distributed across the hand to estimate individual finger articulation and wrist orientation in real time. Captured motion is streamed wirelessly into Rokoko Studio, where it can be viewed, recorded, cleaned and mapped onto a digital hand skeleton. The gloves can operate with Rokoko’s body and facial capture products to create a combined performer dataset.

Animation teams send the resulting hand motion into digital-content tools through plugins or live-streaming integrations. Robotics and research users can access the tracking output for teleoperation, imitation learning and human-motion analysis. Rokoko sells the gloves as a commercial motion-capture product with software subscriptions, integration tools and support for individual creators and enterprise teams.
