About

About ROBOTO 01 (RP1)

ROBOTO 01, also called RP1, is RoboParty's modular bipedal platform for researchers and independent developers. It combines a configurable humanoid body with open mechanical, electrical and software resources, supporting work from robot assembly through training and real-hardware control. Four head configurations address locomotion, interaction, perception and data collection.

RP1 and RP1 Pro share a 1.35-metre body but differ in active body joints, arms, head movement and standard sensing. The base version has 24 active degrees of freedom and passive hands; Pro has 30 active body degrees of freedom and dexterous hands. Both use a hot-swappable battery with a three-hour manufacturer runtime rating. Replaceable end effectors and expansion interfaces let developers adapt the platform without treating every optional hand or sensor as standard equipment.
