B21 uses human-hand proportions and an independently articulated five-finger structure for pinching, enveloping grasps and object rotation. Tactile sensing across the hand provides force-feedback input, while multiple communications interfaces support system integration and secondary development.

The hand weighs 700 g and is rated for 15 N fingertip force, 5 kg of grip force and up to one million operating cycles. ZWHAND supplies it as an end effector for humanoid platforms, industrial assembly, intelligent interaction and rehabilitation or prosthetic systems.
