• 2026-10-20 - Deployment - ALS launches planned Cyberjaya driverless RoboVan road trial

  The Level 4 goods vehicle is intended to operate in mixed traffic with no onboard driver or passenger and remote supervision from ALS’s Cyberjaya operations centre. Malaysia’s road-transport authority authorised public-road testing in June; the remote operations centre launched in July. The programme follows a January postal-logistics proof of concept involving ALS, Zelostech and Pos Malaysia.

  The team includes Kajima, Mitsubishi Electric and Seino Transportation. Trials are planned from November to mid-December 2026 using two ZELOSTECH Z5 autonomous cargo vehicles and one Z10. The planned tests use a 10 km/h baseline and selected straight-road runs at 30 km/h, with optical-fibre sensing for infrastructure-assisted driving.

  The center was established with Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority as a long-term demonstration and evaluation site. Zelostech RoboVans continue operating along the port’s K102 route in a live port environment. Logistics operators and other industry visitors can request demonstrations and assess potential applications for autonomous vehicles.

  The Z10 vehicles autonomously move pallets, totes and other inventory between floors using the building’s existing ramps. The pilot operates inside CEVA’s eight-storey, 50,000-square-metre Blue Hub and replaces some diesel-truck movements. CEVA expects the trial to inform possible rollout of autonomous mobility across other facilities.

Zelos’s L4 urban-delivery vehicles are designed for scenarios such as express delivery and fresh produce and can operate from −30°C to +55°C.
