About
About SPARO / 硅羽科技
SPARO is developing an integrated perception, decision and control architecture for aerial robots. It combines lidar, camera and inertial sensing with a world-navigation model intended to represent geometry, meaning and change in the surrounding environment. Development uses both physical flight data and simulation to improve navigation and task execution.
The company's work extends to physical interaction, including grasping, perching and adapting aircraft posture, alongside coordination between multiple aircraft. Industrial inspection, low-altitude logistics and emergency response are intended applications. Founded by University of Hong Kong researcher Fu Zhang, SPARO is working to translate its team's navigation and control research into commercial aircraft capabilities, with product development and delivery expansion as priorities.
