About XOCEAN
XOCEAN offers two routes to obtaining ocean survey information. In a commissioned project, it agrees the data requirements with the customer, collects measurements using one or more uncrewed vessels, then processes and interprets the results into a final report. The service brings field acquisition and analysis together within a single project scope.
Customers can also obtain existing coverage from the company’s Ocean Data Library when suitable measurements are already available. Its survey methods include multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and magnetometers, supporting different views of the seabed and subsurface. This makes vessel operation one part of a broader data-delivery business, with the output selected around the customer’s mapping, environmental or asset-assessment requirements.
