About BALOR Laser Defense

BALOR Laser Defense grew out of AZ IMEX's drone-manufacturing and supply business in Poland. It combines Ukrainian laser engineering with experience from unmanned systems, developing a directed-energy component for integration into wider air-defence networks. The planned installations include fixed sites and mobile platforms protecting infrastructure and military assets.

In July 2026, BALOR had a functional prototype that had undergone initial validation against drone hulls. The next development phase was live testing of tracking performance and integration with fire-control systems. A Warsaw-based production operation is intended to support later manufacturing and integration as the technology progresses.
