Harvest CROO Robotics builds the B8 field harvester around sixteen independently working robotic units. Computer vision and AI evaluate strawberry ripeness and plant condition as the machine navigates crop rows, then picking mechanisms select fruit and move it into an integrated handling workflow. The platform also records plant-level information for harvest and crop-management decisions.
Commercial field trials during Florida’s 2024–2025 strawberry season reached harvesting performance that the company described as comparable with human crews. That milestone supports a commercial-viability claim, while throughput and landed-cost outcomes remain dependent on cultivar, fruit presentation, row condition and operating environment. Harvest CROO continues to position the system as grower-facing automation with machine operation and support supplied around the hardware.
