About MetoMotion
MetoMotion develops GRoW, an autonomous greenhouse robot for harvesting and material handling between crop rows. A narrow driverless base carries two robotic arms that work on both sides of the aisle, using three-dimensional vision to identify ripe produce and smart shears to cut and retain fruit before placing it into boxes.
GRoW transports empty and filled crates as it moves, allowing picking and packing to form one continuous workflow. Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity links operating data to crop-management tools for yield forecasting and post-harvest planning. The platform is sized for greenhouse lanes, carries multiple boxes and uses lidar-based safety sensing; MetoMotion supplies it as a robotic worker for repetitive commercial growing tasks.
