AutoPallet's Magbots travel upside down on overhead steel panels, using magnetic adhesion to move above pallets and conveyors. The robots lower a handling tool to collect a case, raise it for transport and place it at another position below. A freestanding panel structure bolts to the warehouse floor, creating a shared overhead work area.
Additional panels expand the area, while adding robots increases handling capacity. This separates physical coverage from the number of machines serving it. The company is recruiting operators and integrators for pilot deployments involving mixed-case repalletising, inbound sorting from loose-loaded trailers and case picking in existing warehouses.

The robots travel on overhead rails and lower to handle cases across a large warehouse area. The design preserves floor space while allowing picking, sorting, buffering and palletizing work to run in parallel. AutoPallet presented the system during its design-partner commercialization stage.

The system coordinates swarms of small mobile robots for case picking in existing warehouses. AutoPallet designed the platform to support sorting, buffering and mixed-SKU palletization without rebuilding the facility. The company entered Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch and began seeking warehouse design partners.
