About
About Gideon
Gideon’s current platform, Trey, is an autonomous forklift designed to load and unload trailers and move pallets between dock and warehouse locations. Three-dimensional vision constructs a detailed model of the trailer, pallet and surrounding traffic, allowing the vehicle to localise loads and manoeuvre in areas where lighting, geometry and pallet placement vary.
Trey connects with dock processes and warehouse systems, coordinating trailer and pallet work across complete logistics workflows. Fleet software assigns missions and supervises several vehicles, while remote assistance handles exceptional situations. Gideon deploys the system within live logistics operations and supplies site integration, commissioning and continuing operational support around the autonomous forklift fleet.

Events
- 2026-10-07 - Product Launch - Gideon launches TREY autonomous forklift commercially across North America
Medium- and heavy-duty models are offered, with advertised battery operating times of 12 and 10 hours respectively. Gideon rates handling at up to 28 pallets or cages per hour and supports more than 119 load-carrier types. Fleet management and a dashboard track trailer cycles, operating performance and associate interventions; time-stamped load images provide an inventory audit trail.

DB Schenker announced a Prague-region logistics center with the largest AMR deployment in Eastern Europe. The 55,000-square-meter facility was scheduled to launch in summer 2023. The announcement named autonomous mobile robots as part of the high-tech logistics-center plan.
Source - 2022-04-21 - Product Launch - Gideon launches TREY for autonomous trailer loading
TREY was designed to load and unload pallets autonomously while working in dynamic loading-bay environments alongside people. Gideon said the workflow could save more than 80% of a worker’s time during trailer loading and unloading. The system combined AI and 3D-vision autonomy, workflow-orchestration software and a purpose-built counterbalanced chassis.
