Living.AI builds small companion robots around animated behaviour, autonomous desktop movement and voice interaction. EMO uses an HD camera, a four-microphone array, touch sensing and more than ten internal sensors to recognise faces and objects, locate sounds and react when it is handled. Edge detection lets it explore a desk without walking off, while a neural-network processor handles image, audio and sensor data.

EMO communicates through facial animation, body movement, speech and sound, with a behaviour system that changes its responses as it interacts with people and its environment. It can answer questions, play music and games, take photographs, set alarms and control Living.AI smart lights. The EMO Go Home configuration adds a Home Station that the robot can locate and use for autonomous charging, supporting longer unsupervised play within a defined desktop area. Living.AI sells the robot, charging hardware, lights and accessories directly to consumers and adds features through software updates.
