About Oculus Aeris

Oculus Aeris integrates autonomous aerial security systems for high-security and critical-infrastructure sites. Its primary offer uses Nightingale Security's Blackbird drone with a protective charging base and mission software. The aircraft conducts scheduled perimeter patrols, launches automatically in response to alarms, streams live video and returns to land and recharge without routine pilot control.

Blackbird can launch within 30 seconds, fly for up to 33 minutes and operate in adverse weather. Multiple stations can be distributed around a facility and connected with existing security applications. Oculus Aeris assesses the site, designs the integration, obtains operational approvals, installs and configures the equipment, and provides training, maintenance and technical support. The Czech company operates as the deployment and service partner for the system rather than the Blackbird manufacturer, and says the configuration has the approvals required for operation under the applicable Czech and European Union framework.
