TanKeBlue develops and manufactures silicon-carbide single-crystal materials for third-generation power semiconductors. Its process chain covers SiC powder, crystal-growth furnaces, boules, conductive and semi-insulating substrates, wafer machining, cleaning, inspection and epitaxial wafers. Current catalogues span four-, six- and eight-inch formats across multiple manufacturing sites in China.
The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Beijing’s Daxing District. It reached small-batch four-inch supply in 2012, launched six-inch products in 2014 and introduced eight-inch substrates in 2022. A 2023 multi-year agreement names TanKeBlue as a supplier of 150 mm SiC wafers and boules to Infineon. Its robotics relevance is upstream: these materials become power devices for motor drives, inverters and efficient electrical systems.
