  The package coordinates steering, braking and power distribution from human or machine-generated commands. Rugged computers, actuators, wiring and electronics are designed for field-level installation on new or existing fleets. Textron reports more than 8,000 operational miles across its RIPSAW family; that history is a company-reported validation metric.

  The route covered nearly 150 nautical miles in about two and a half hours.
