Dex

About

About Dex

Dex is Richtech Robotics' industrial robot platform with a dual-arm upper body and a choice of mobile or stationary mounting. Modular end effectors accommodate hands, clamps and specialised tools. Four task cameras support object handling, while the mobile version uses lidar, cameras and an inertial sensor for navigation. NVIDIA Jetson Thor provides onboard computation.

Richtech develops skills using NVIDIA Isaac simulation followed by real-world training and testing. Intended work includes machine operation, sorting, handling, inspection and packaging in manufacturing and logistics. The mobile platform is rated for about four hours between charges; the stationary version uses continuous power for fixed workstations. Dex is progressing through demonstrations and pilot discussions as Richtech prepares its industrial launch. Its configurations allow a workflow to use fixed manipulation or movement between work areas.
