About

About Centaur-G1

Centaur-G1 is Elite Robots' wheeled dual-arm platform for combining mobile movement with manipulation. It integrates a head, torso and articulated arms above a mobile chassis, with Elite's Primo embodied-intelligence software coordinating perception and task planning. The manufacturer targets work such as handling, inspection, laboratory automation and commercial service, while supplying developer interfaces for custom workflows.

The robot has 20 degrees of freedom and seven joints in each arm, with a maximum rated payload of 5 kg per arm. LiDAR, a head RGB-D camera and wrist cameras provide views of the surroundings and the workpiece. Six-axis force sensing at the end-effectors supports compliant contact. Elite provides ROS 2 interfaces, whole-body kinematics and an Isaac Sim environment for motion-control testing, with Isaac Lab examples for reinforcement-learning development.
