AX6-A901S is Epson's six-axis collaborative robot with a six-kilogram payload and 900 mm arm length. The arm provides ±0.03 mm repeatability, endless rotation at joint six and tool-side Ethernet, electrical and pneumatic connections. ISO Class 5 and IP54 specifications support clean and general industrial configurations within their stated environmental limits.

The RC-A101 controller coordinates motion and cell interfaces, while a 17-kilogram robot mass keeps the installation comparatively compact. Integrators select end effectors, guarding and operating modes for assembly, tending, inspection or handling work. Collaborative use is an application-level property and requires validation of the complete tool, workpiece and programmed motion.
