KR IONTEC

KR IONTEC is a six-axis robot family covering handling, assembly, welding, machine tending, foundry and process applications within a common mechanical platform. Different arm and wrist combinations provide payload and reach options while maintaining a compact installation footprint. The family supports floor, wall, ceiling and inclined mounting, allowing cell designers to place the robot around machines, fixtures and conveyors with fewer layout constraints.

The robots operate with KUKA controllers and programming software and can be equipped with application packages, dress packs, positioners and process equipment. Foundry variants extend the platform into environments involving heat, dust and casting residues. KUKA supplies KR IONTEC through its automation and integration network for new production cells and reconfigurable manufacturing lines.
