NAVIAI i3
About
About NAVIAI i3
NAVIAI i3 combines navigation and positioning with whole-body coordination for movement and manipulation. Its control approach emphasises balance under external disturbance, using coordinated joint motion to respond when the robot is pushed or encounters difficult terrain. The lower-body joints provide the support needed for its full-size frame.
The platform is specified for a maximum joint torque of 360 newton-metres and movement up to nine kilometres per hour. Its development focuses on maintaining stability while travelling and carrying out more precise actions, linking mobility with object interaction through a common whole-body control system.
