PUDU D9

About

About PUDU D9

PUDU D9 is Pudu Robotics' full-size bipedal humanoid for developing coordinated locomotion, manipulation and interaction. Its original product configuration combines a 170-centimetre body, seven-axis arms and DH11 hands with six active and five passive degrees of freedom per hand. RGB and depth cameras, tactile sensors and an inertial measurement unit provide information for movement and contact control.

The platform brings sensing, motion control and manipulation into a common system as Pudu develops its general embodied-AI technology across several robot forms. Hardware and control continue to change through successive iterations, including an updated D9 introduced in April 2026 with an emphasis on coordinated, stable motion. Published maximum speed and test-load ratings describe specified operating conditions. D9 remains a development platform progressing toward commercial applications.
