Armada A8

Eight metres long and built around a rugged aluminium hull, Armada A8 uses an interchangeable payload frame to support survey, environmental-research, seismic-support and security configurations. Ocean Infinity gives the vessel a maximum speed of seven knots and endurance of up to seven days. A wraparound fender and the ability to launch from shore or a mothership address handling across different deployment sites.

Propulsion and communications are fully redundant. The vessel connects through Ocean Infinity’s remote-communications system to the company’s Remote Control Centre network, allowing crew to supervise it away from the operating area. A8 is the smallest class in an Armada fleet spanning six vessel sizes from eight to 86 metres; its published limits apply to this A8 configuration, while payload choice and sea conditions determine the practical mission profile.
