About
About WeCobot
WeCobot centres its welding systems on ONE software and the ONE Ring interface used to teach a weld path. The operator positions the torch and records the required motion through a button at the robot, then uses the software to configure the welding task. Available functions include weave welding, multilayer welding and seam tracking, with tracks and manipulators extending the cell’s physical arrangement.
The company offers both welding kits and complete setups containing the cobot, welding machine and integration equipment. Before deployment, its specialists can test and simulate a customer’s parts and configure the software around the intended workflow. Workshops and operator training accompany that application work, helping the fabrication team introduce new weld programs and use the system across different jobs.

- 2026-07-03 - Deployment - OLP Robotics supplies WeCobot welding system to Austal
Austal installed the collaborative welding system at its Henderson shipyard for fabrication testing. OLP Robotics supplied the turnkey package locally and supported coding and commissioning. The system welds aluminium and steel while working alongside Austal's skilled fabrication team.
Source - 2025-09-24 - Demonstration - WeCobot demonstrates 300-bead multilayer weld with ONE software
Operators taught the first pass in under 30 seconds before automated multilayer execution. The demonstration deposited 300 weld beads across 24 layers on thick S355 plates. WeCobot reported roughly eight hours total welding time at 42 centimeters per minute.
Source - 2025-07-04 - Product Launch - WeCobot announces Synchronized Motion for ONE software
Synchronized Motion coordinates the cobot and manipulator simultaneously through WeCobot ONE software. Continuous coordinated movement targets precise welding across curved, angular and otherwise complex geometries. WeCobot presented the capability as a forthcoming fall expansion rather than an available launch.

Participants brought workpieces and used the WeCobot welding solution during supervised hands-on sessions. A live demonstration showed Fronius DynamicWire and CMT processes for stable, precise welding. WeCobot specialists answered application questions and shared directly usable workshop guidance with attendees.
Source - 2024-03-22 - Market Signal - WeCobot moves into larger Zwolle headquarters
The Zwolle building adds workspaces and dedicated room for developing WeCobot welding products. WeCobot identified collaboration space as the most important benefit of the expanded location. The company began receiving visitors at Ossenkamp 2N on March 25, 2024.
