About Revise Robotics
Revise applies cameras, software and robotic handling to the sequence that follows receipt of a used laptop. The system identifies the device, records its specification and condition, runs diagnostic checks, securely wipes stored data and captures consistent marketplace photographs.
The resulting information is converted into a structured resale listing instead of being passed manually between separate assessment, wiping and photography stations. Revise is developing the workflow for electronics recyclers and IT-asset disposition operators that process varied devices and need to increase recovery value without scaling repetitive manual inspection work.

- 2026-05-12 - Demonstration - Revise Robotics demonstrates live laptop refurbishment at IAITAM ACE
Armtonio refurbished laptops live for IT asset-management attendees at exhibition booth 49. Revise Robotics assembled the demonstration robot onsite before exhibiting as an event sponsor. IAITAM ACE ran May 12-14 at the M Resort in the Las Vegas area.

The system demonstrated autonomous laptop testing, data wiping, photography and resale-listing preparation. Revise designed the workflow to operate across device models, manufacturers and operating systems. The launch followed a completed pilot and preceded a planned second refurbishment pilot.

The Phase 2 award provided $150,000 in cash for the Revise Robotics circularity project. Winners also received up to $100,000 in technical assistance from a national laboratory. The program supports reuse, repair and refurbishment before materials enter conventional recycling streams.

Revise Robotics delivered a five-minute pitch before judges from Pennovation and regional venture organizations. The Best Pitch package included $3,000 and six months of Pennovation resident membership. Judges recognized the company intelligent-robotics approach to building a more circular electronics industry.
