About Caracol
Caracol develops robotic large-format additive-manufacturing systems for polymer, composite and metal parts. Heron AM uses a multi-axis industrial robot and extrusion head to deposit pellet-fed materials, while Vipra AM applies wire-arc directed-energy deposition to large metal components.
Both platforms combine robotic hardware with Eidos software for slicing, path planning, process control and monitoring. Vipra configurations add sensing for layer geometry, thermal conditions and gas flow, and support aluminium, stainless steel, nickel alloys and titanium. Caracol supplies turnkey cells, application engineering, installation, training and maintenance, and also manufactures parts for aerospace, marine, transport, energy and industrial customers.
