Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR)
About
About Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR)
MiR's mobile bases accept application modules that determine how they collect and deliver a load: towing hooks move carts, lifts carry shelves, and conveyor tops transfer goods at production stations. Its pallet-handling range includes the MiR1200 Pallet Jack, which uses 3D sensing to identify pallet openings and detect obstructions during collection.
MiR Fleet assigns and prioritises missions while coordinating shared positions, traffic zones, staging and charging. Site maps, missions and zone settings can be distributed across connected robots, giving operators a common configuration for a facility. Deployments therefore combine a transport platform, its load-handling equipment and site-specific fleet rules around the flow of materials.

Timeline
Events
- 2025-05-06 - Executive Hire - MiR appoints Kevin Dumas as president
Dumas moved from MiR Vice President of Product to president. He brought a 13-year Teradyne track record across product and business leadership. Hathout moved to lead Universal Robots.
Source - 2025-03-11 - Product Launch - MiR launches VDA 5050 Adapter for mixed fleets
The adapter connects MiR's REST interface with VDA 5050 MQTT messaging. MHP, SYNAOS, Siemens SIMOVE and KINEXON contributed integration expertise. MiR made the adapter available worldwide through certified system integrators.
Source - 2024-11-20 - Product Launch - MiR introduces Enabled Robotics MC600 integration
Enabled Robotics is responsible for the MC600 partner product. The system integrates MiR600 mobility with UR20 or UR30 manipulation. Target workflows include palletizing, box handling and machine tending.
Source - 2024-10-18 - Product Launch - MiR launches MiR Fleet Enterprise
The platform supports fleets of more than 100 robots. It introduced a publish-subscribe architecture for more efficient data exchange. Security features include single sign-on, audit logging and improved permissions.
Source - 2024-03-19 - Product Launch - MiR launches MiR1200 Pallet Jack
The robot detects, collects and delivers pallets up to 1,200 kg. Its perception stack uses 3D vision and NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin. MiR designed it for constrained, dynamic indoor pallet workflows.
Source - 2024-02-08 - Product Launch - ROEQ introduces second-generation top rollers for MiR600 and MiR1350
TR600 handles loads up to 600 kg, while TR1150 handles up to 1,125 kg. TR1000 Auto transfers cargo to static conveyors at different heights. TR1150 and TR1000 Auto can carry two packages for separate delivery to different stations.
Source - 2022-10-05 - Org Change - MiR combines with AutoGuide under one AMR business
The integrated business officially became MiR at the end of September 2022. AutoGuide added high-payload tuggers and forklifts to MiR's portfolio. Walter Vahey became president of the combined business.
Source - 2021-06-01 - Capability - Braun integrates MiR250 and SICK sensors into BS Trayshuttle
