Advanced Navigation validated a software-fused inertial and laser-velocity architecture in ground and airborne trials conducted without GNSS position or heading inputs.

The ground and airborne trials provide measured GNSS-denied navigation error across two operating domains, but do not prove deployment on a named production vehicle.

Evidence notes
- Across five road trials, the hybrid system averaged 0.053% distance error against a separately logged GNSS reference.
- A fixed-wing trial over 545 kilometres produced a final distance error of 0.045%.
- The tests combined a fibre-optic-gyroscope inertial system with a laser velocity sensor and adaptive software fusion; they did not establish a named vehicle deployment.
