Mara raises $7M pre-seed for autonomous counter-UAS system

Mara raised $7 million in pre-seed funding to move its Spike autonomous counter-UAS system from field testing into deployment.

Mara develops low-cost autonomous counter-drone and saturation systems for frontline operations. The company is building deployable, mass-manufacturable systems intended to detect and neutralize FPV-drone swarms across land, air and maritime operating areas. NATO DIANA selected the company for its 2026 programme, adding third-party validation and access to allied accelerator sites, test centres and defence users.
