About FIPA
FIPA builds end effectors around the sequence a part must follow after pickup. Its custom tooling can combine vacuum cups with mechanical movement so a robot removes, turns and places several components during one cycle. One demonstrated plastics tool collects three cups and their holder together, sets down the holder, then rotates and inserts the cups individually.
Standard gripper components and vacuum hardware support these application-specific assemblies. Separate FIPALIFT tube lifters serve operators moving heavy or bulky items manually, using vacuum to grip and lift the load. The range therefore includes both tooling attached to automated machinery and lifting assistance for workstations where a person directs the handling process.

The gripper picks up three cups and their matching holder together. After placing the holder, it rotates the cups by 180 degrees and inserts them individually. The continuous process eliminates a separate repositioning station.

Thermalon vacuum cups handle hot parts without surface marking before painting. The cups are silicone-free and free from paint-wetting impairment substances. A SAFE-LOCK quick-change system supports rapid gripper replacement.

FIPA replaced twelve individual ejectors with one FMC multi-chamber ejector on a JELD-WEN door-packaging line. Measured compressed-air demand fell from 540 litres per minute to 220 litres per minute, a reduction of about 60 percent. The retrofit also reduced noise and gripping faults while improving availability of the twenty-year-old sorting system.

FIPA combined its FIPALIFTpro tube lifter with a FormHand gripping pad for irregular and flexible goods. The integrated system safely handled loads up to 25 kilograms, including shrink-wrapped PET bottles where conventional suction cups failed. The partnership brought FormHand's shape-adaptive gripping technology into FIPA's commercial handling portfolio.
