Zimmer Group supplies more than 3,000 standard handling components, spanning pneumatic and electric grippers, rotary and swivel modules, linear axes, collision protection, sensors and tool changers. The range supports pick-and-place, assembly, machine tending and heavy workpiece handling, with modular and customer-specific systems extending beyond catalogue configurations.
Its MATCH ecosystem standardises the mechanical and communications interface between robot arms and mechanical or vacuum end effectors. Robot modules support digital I/O, IO-Link or a Smart Communication Module, while storage stations allow manual or automatic tool changes. Manufacturer-specific software provides setup, control and condition monitoring across common cobots and six-axis industrial robots, letting one arm switch tasks or workpieces without rebuilding the cell.
