About Malloy Aeronautics
Malloy Aeronautics develops electric vertical-take-off aircraft around heavy payload transport. The T150 carries loads in the roughly 68 kg class, while the larger T400 prototype is designed for payloads up to 165 kg; the wider development roadmap has explored systems reaching 300 kg. Cargo is mounted beneath the multirotor airframe so the aircraft can lift supplies without a runway or prepared landing strip.
Customers integrate containers, release mechanisms or mission payloads for resupply, casualty support and other field-logistics work. Malloy provides aircraft design, payload integration, testing, maintenance and rapid engineering around operational requirements. BAE Systems acquired 100% of Malloy Aeronautics in January 2024 and integrated the business into its FalconWorks organisation, while Malloy platforms continue to support programmes with UK and US defence partners.

Malloy Aeronautics said the Royal Navy used the T-150 Uncrewed Air System to deliver supplies between ships during its 2025 Indo-Pacific mission. The company described the mission as a historic first for the Royal Navy. The event shows the T-150 being used for operational maritime logistics rather than only test-range demonstration.

BAE Systems tested a weaponised Malloy T-150 configuration using an APKWS laser-guidance kit and 70 mm rockets. A Utah trial employed the T-150 against another drone in live counter-UAS testing. BAE said the weapon system could be removed within an hour, allowing the T-150 to switch back to cargo or reconnaissance roles.

BAE Systems acquired Malloy Aeronautics, a UK developer of heavy-lift uncrewed aircraft systems. BAE said Malloy designs and supplies all-electric UAS for civil and military customers. The acquisition followed prior BAE-Malloy work on the T-650 heavy-lift drone and brought Malloy into BAE Systems’ FalconWorks organization.
