About MightyFly
MightyFly reported three full-scale aircraft and more than 400 autonomous flights by February 2025. Its published platform targets span 100- to 500-pound payloads and 600- to 1,000-mile routes, with multi-stop flight planning. An internal conveyor is being developed to load, secure and unload packages without ground crews; those figures describe a programme range across aircraft configurations, not one certified operating envelope.
The FAA issued Cento a Special Airworthiness Certificate and authorised a California test corridor between New Jerusalem and Byron airports, up to 5,000 feet, for beyond-visual-line-of-sight development using a chase aircraft. MightyFly later demonstrated autonomous flight and cargo operations for the U.S. Air Force. Its 2025 disclosures also describe a five-year healthcare logistics contract, while certification and commercial scaling remain distinct from those demonstrations and agreements.

Two Orbital HFE propulsion systems are allocated to flight testing and one to ground development and validation. Delivery of all three systems is scheduled for September 2026. The systems support a heavy-fuel configuration for MightyFly's autonomous cargo-aircraft test programme.
