About MBO Postpress Solutions
MBO develops folding, delivery and palletising systems for work after printing. CoBo-Stack receives stacks of signatures, brochures or other finished products from the delivery table and uses a collaborative arm to place them onto one or two pallets. The 10i configuration handles stacks up to 6 kg as standard or 8 kg optionally, with throughput reaching roughly 300 or 260 stacks per hour respectively.
An operator enters the product and pallet dimensions, deposit height and stacking pattern through the control interface. The mobile system can then be repositioned behind another folding, stitching or binding line. MBO also offers the higher-capacity CoBo-Stack 30i for heavier postpress output. Within Komori Group, MBO supplies the robot as part of a wider print-finishing workflow.

- 2021-12-17 - Production Milestone - MBO reports more than 90 CoBo-Stack robots in the field
MBO Postpress Solutions reported that more than 90 CoBo-Stack stacking robots were already in the field while announcing continued product development. MBO said the CoBo-Stack had launched about two and a half years earlier. The robot automates moving folded signature stacks from delivery units to pallets in print shops and book binderies.
