Multishuttle 2

Multishuttle 2 is a multi-level automated storage and retrieval system for totes, cartons and trays. Independent rail-guided shuttles move loads horizontally within rack levels while vertical lifts and buffer conveyors transfer them into and out of storage. The system supports precise sequencing for goods-to-person picking, mixed-case palletising, replenishment, order consolidation and production supply.

Static, Belted, Flex and Freezer configurations address different load formats and operating conditions. Static, Belted and Freezer shuttles carry up to 50 kilograms, while Flex carries up to 40 kilograms and adjusts its extractor to variable package dimensions. Travel speed reaches 4 metres per second with average acceleration up to 2 metres per second squared. Standard layouts use single- or double-deep storage, with multi-deep configurations available, and the Freezer model operates down to −30 degrees Celsius.
