R1-A5-D

R1-A5-D is Unitree's mobile dual-arm robot with five joints in each arm, a lifting torso and a wheeled base. It gives robotics developers a platform for manipulation and interaction experiments, combining a binocular head camera with chassis LiDAR. Programming interfaces expose the arms, vision, audio and other controls, while optional computing modules support application development.

The mobile configuration adjusts its height for work at different levels and has eighteen degrees of freedom with grippers fitted. Wrist cameras and alternative grippers or dexterous hands are configuration choices. Unitree specifies approximately one and a half hours of battery operation, with arm-load limits dependent on posture and extension. R1-A5-D is the mobile five-joint-arm version within the R1-A range; the fixed-base version and seven-joint-arm models have separate mechanical specifications.
