About Linker Hand O6
Linker Hand O6 uses six actuators and a linkage transmission to coordinate 11 articulated degrees of freedom in a 370 g package. Six active joints drive the mechanism while five passive joints allow the fingers to conform around objects. LinkerBot publishes a maximum-load rating of 50 kg and repeatability within ±0.20 mm for the exact O6 product.
CAN, CAN FD, RS-485 and EtherCAT interfaces provide options for connecting the hand to a host robot controller across a 24-48 V operating range. Optional fingertip and palm tactile sensors add contact feedback for grasp regulation, while the base configuration remains a linkage-driven hand rather than a fully sensorized system. The product is intended for object grasping on humanoids, robot arms and manipulation research platforms; achieved grasp stability and object range depend on the mounting, controller, finger geometry, tactile option and commanded motion.
