UR18

UR18 is Universal Robots’ supported legacy six-axis collaborative robot arm for compact industrial handling cells. It combines an 18 kg payload with 950 mm reach, a 4 m/s maximum tool-centre-point speed and ±0.05 mm pose repeatability. The arm weighs 39.2 kg without its cable and uses a 204 mm mounting footprint, making it suitable for larger tools and parts within a short working envelope.

The wrist provides an integrated force/torque sensor and M8 connections for tool power, I/O and RS-485 communication. Protection ratings differ across the system: IP65 for the arm, IP44 for the control box and IP54 for the teach pendant. UR18 has been succeeded by UR18g-950, while service, spare parts and software support continue for existing UR18 installations.
