About Safran Electronics & Defense
Safran Electronics & Defense combines navigation, imaging and control electronics within customer platforms. Its Euroflir 410 observation system uses visible and infrared imaging with stabilisation to support aircraft, helicopter and drone missions. Maritime configurations can work with radar and vessel-identification systems for surveillance and search and rescue.
The company also supplies Skyjacker counter-drone systems. Skyjacker Advanced links command-and-control software with detection and identification sensors and can connect to existing defence networks. Safran signed a European delivery contract for that configuration in June 2026. Across these product lines, its role spans individual sensing and navigation equipment through integrated mission subsystems, with configurations selected for the host platform and operating purpose.

Each aircraft is planned to carry two SkyNaute systems. SkyNaute combines Safran HRG Crystal inertial technology with navigation continuity when GNSS is unavailable, degraded or jammed. The selection supports Eve's certifiable urban-air-mobility aircraft architecture.

Wisk said initial testing confirmed the system's performance and plans to use it to support precise trajectories through every phase of autonomous flight.
