  • The approved corridor covered 378 kilometres across UK and Norwegian airspace.
  • Windracers described it as the first UK civil UAS approval for an international operation.
  • The approval used temporary danger areas and applied to a defined flight operation, not unrestricted route certification.

Windracers engineers, manufactures and operates the ULTRA family of autonomous heavy-lift fixed-wing drones for civil and defence missions. Founded in 2017, the British company combines aircraft, a masterless autopilot, mission control, maintenance and global operations. ULTRA platforms have flown logistics, resupply, surveying and fire-monitoring missions across Europe, North America, Africa, Antarctica and Ukraine.
